Dallas: Day 1

Honesty is the best policy...Dallas sort of sucks.

Granted we have only been here for a few hours, but not a great first impression.  We left our hotel around 6:30 to find some dinner.  We found food at 8:30...and no, we didn't come back to Austin for dinner.  First, we get lost among the back streets of Dallas and found the watering hole for the adult stores of the city.  Awesome.  Next, we find the highway and there are NO food places that are written in English along the way.  Didn't really feel like experimenting with food that could possibly disagree with our tummies so the search continued.

We find ourselves going toward downtown.  We find ourselves going through downtown.  We find ourselves going pass downtown.  Everywhere we got off along the way, no joke, there were NO restaurants.  @$%#!!!

After a ton of laughs and some peeing in the pants, we finally found food.  You would think for such a huge town there would be several random food places close to all the hotels.  Guess not.

Well, after our 4 hours of driving around the town, we are pooped.  More to report later!

Why didn't y'all ask the concierge where's good to eat? Or go online--didn't we do that in Memphis?

The mall's supposed to be pretty spectacular, though maybe you should steer clear. =)
